Architecture
Architecture is explored here as both structure and narrative, from residential and commercial projects to cultural institutions, public realm interventions, and adaptive reuse transformations. This section brings together contemporary architectural thinking from leading practices around the world, alongside emerging projects that are shaping cities, landscapes, and ways of living.
Each feature examines architecture not only as built form, but as a response to context, culture, and change, offering a curated view of how design continues to redefine the environments we inhabit.

The British Museum has announced that Lina Ghotmeh Architecture, based in Paris, will spearhead the ambitious redesign of its Western Range galleries in London. After a thorough two-stage international competition, the Lebanese architect Lina Ghotmeh’s studio was chosen as the “unanimous favourite" among a shortlist of five candidates. The studio’s method, referred to as “archaeological," perfectly aligns with the museum’s mission to transform its historic spaces while honouring its rich heritage.
