Stone That Softens: Inside Bill Amberg Studio’s Boulder Benches at 20 Gresham Street
Within the reimagined entrance hall of 20 Gresham Street, monumental travertine benches bring sculpture, architecture and use into quiet alignment. Created with Bill Amberg Studio, the project explores how stone and leather can age together through time, touch and restraint.
Thomas Heatherwick – Vessel, Hudson Yards, New York, USA
At the very heart of the Hudson Yards development on New York's West Side is a giant honeycomb-like sculpture towering above the plaza below. Designed by British designer Thomas Heatherwick, 'Vessel' is a brand new icon for the city that never sleeps. Visitors are invited to climb the structure's 154 Escher-like staircases to the top for a unique take and views of the city skyline and surrounding area.
Canary Wharf Winter Lights 2019
Winter Lights returns to Canary Wharf for its fifth edition this January, transforming the dark evenings and surroundings of London's iconic district into a spectacle of colour and movement for visitors and locals to enjoy. Twenty-one impressive lighting installations are on display across the estate for visitors to explore, promoting the many destinations and what they have to offer.
