Emmanuelle Moureaux: Slices of Time
Tokyo based, French architect and designer Emmanuelle Moureaux arrives on the London art scene, launching the 'Slices of Time' installation at the NOW Gallery on Greenwich Peninsula. The latest instalment of the globally renowned ‘100 colors’ series and the first presented in the UK, the installation composes of laser-cut coloured paper in a mesmerising gradient of hues.
Ugo Rondinone: Miami Mountain / Marcela Sinclair: Derrame
New York-based, mixed-media artist Ugo Rondinone has erected a giant neon rock formation in Miami Beach's Collins Park, close to the city's iconic Bass Museum of Art. Famed for 'Seven Magic Mountains' (2016-2018), a group of seven fluorescently-painted totems of rocks located south of Las Vegas in the Nevada desert, Rondinone has replicated the success with 'Miami Mountain'; a singular vivid formation and a permanent piece acquired by The Bass for the Miami Beach park.
Leandro Erlich: Order of Importance
Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich takes over part of Miami's South Beach during Art Week with a life-size installation consisting of 66 vehicles created from compacted sand. Titled 'The Order of Importance', the installation raises awareness of the climate change crisis.

Art Miami 2019
Now in its 31st year, Art Miami is one of America's leading fairs in the modern and contemporary art market. Hosted during Miami's renowned art week, alongside its sister shows 'CONTEXT' also in Downtown Miami and 'Aqua' in South Beach, each fair exhibits works from the world's leading galleries, artists, sculptors and designers. Antony Gormley: Royal Academy of Arts
The 69-year-old Turner prize-winning artist, Antony Gormley takes over the Royal Academy of Arts, transforming thirteen of its galleries into an impressive showcase of the sculptor's iconic works. Famed for his contemporary creations often inspired by the human body and the mind, visitors are invited to observe, interact and reflect on the personal subjects that the works portray.
PAD London Design - 2019
A staple of the London art calendar, PAD takes over Berkeley Square in Mayfair to showcase the very best in 20th Century art, design and decorative arts. Thomas Heatherwick – Vessel, Hudson Yards, New York, USA
At the very heart of the Hudson Yards development on New York's West Side is a giant honeycomb-like sculpture towering above the plaza below. Designed by British designer Thomas Heatherwick, 'Vessel' is a brand new icon for the city that never sleeps. Visitors are invited to climb the structure's 154 Escher-like staircases to the top for a unique take and views of the city skyline and surrounding area.
Olafur Eliasson – In Real Life, Tate Modern, London, UK
The Tate Modern’s latest exhibition features over 40 art pieces created by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson from 1990 to the present. Born in 1967, Eliasson has produced many works, including installations, sculptures, photographs, and paintings, utilising materials such as moss, glacial meltwater, fog, light, and reflective metals. His artistic practice is deeply rooted in three key interests: a concern for nature shaped by his experiences in Iceland, exploration of geometry, and investigations into our perceptions and interactions with the world around us.
Twentieth Gallery, Los Angeles
Celebrating their 20th anniversary during the 2019 edition of Los Angeles Design Festival, Twentieth hosted a series of events and showcases during the week, including the Henzel Studio Collaborations in their 'THE NEW' Gallery space located next door to their iconic scale clad structure.
